Bo was born on October 4, 2005 in Habersham County, Georgia to Chris and Kathy (Workman) Carter. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
Bo graduated from Habersham Central High School as part of the Class of 2024. During his time there, he was known for his infectious sense of humor and his role as the jokester among his friends. Throughout his life, Bo had a passion for baseball. Off the field, he found solace in the great outdoors. Hunting and fishing were not just hobbies for Bo, they were his true passions. He spent countless hours enjoying nature and riding his 4-wheeler. He was particularly proud of his Chevy Silverado, which he meticulously cared for and enjoyed showing off.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, BJ Ivie, of Cornelia; Cassie Carter, of Cornelia; brother, Colton Carter, of Cornelia; paternal grandparents, Angela Sellers, of Carnesville; David Carter, of Hartwell; maternal grandmother, Dottie Colston, of Demorest; god-parents, Bugsy and Betty Jo Lewis, of Illinois; nieces, Jaidyn Ivie, Hailee Parham; nephews, Nicholas Parham, Remington Carter, Walker Carter; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a special cousin and best-friend, Caleb Blackburn, of Alto; life long best-friend, Caden Franklin, of Mt. Airy.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Jason Blackburn officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the funeral home.
