Billie V. Andeerson

Billie V. Anderson, age 82, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011, a local hospital. Mrs. Anderson was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on April 3, 1929, to the late Jacob F. and Virgie Sissom VonSchaaf. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Anderson, Sr.; sisters, Gloria Roberts, and Anne VonSchaaf. Mrs. Anderson was of the Methodist faith. She was a retired employee with the Internal Revenue Service. Survivors include sons, James W. Anderson, Jr., Clarkesville, GA and Jack A. Anderson, Cornelia, GA; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2011, from Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Bill Hamilton officiating. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m., on Monday, September 26, 2011, in the Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery, 201 Mount Vernon Road, North West, Atlanta, Georgia 30328. The family will receive friends at 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. just prior to the funeral service on Sunday, September 25, 2011, from Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
