Bill Mcdougald

Bill McDougald, age 69, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. Mr. McDougald was born on December 20, 1950 in White County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Lathan McDougald; mother, Runell Nelms Anderson; and brother, David Nelms. Mr. McDougald was a member of White Creek Baptist Church. He was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills. Survivors include his sister, Annette Irvin, of Eastanollee; brothers, Dale Nelms, of Cleveland; and Darrell Nelms, of Alto. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Anthony Shore officiating. Interment will follow in White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Milton Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Please follow social distancing guidelines when visiting with the family.
