Beverly Burrell Canup

Beverly Burrell Canup, age 68, of Toccoa, Georgia passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012, following an extended illness. Ms. Canup was born in Gainesville, Georgia on May 23, 1944, to the late Cortez and Edna Snyder Burrell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Canup and sister, Joyce Jones. Ms. Canup was a veteran of the United States Navy. She was a member of Level Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Susan Burrell, Dahlonega, GA; nieces Alison Brown, Amy and Stuart Sugg, Tiffany Vanmeter, and Leeann Vanmeter; great niece and nephews, Addie Brown, Cameron and Noah Sugg; close personal friend, Larry Bowden. Graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, 7321 Old Cornelia Highway, Alto, GA 30510 with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, September 10, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
