Betty Ruth Cotton Patton

Betty Ruth Cotton Patton, age 72, of Cornelia, GA passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at her residence. Born in Franklin County, GA on June 4, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Rudess and Lillie May Carian Cotton. In addition to her parents Mrs. Patton was preceded in death by an infant son. Mrs. Patton was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired inspector with Baycor Inc. Mrs. Patton was a loving and caring wife, mother, aunt, and friend to many. Mrs. Patton is survived by her husband Raymond W. Patton. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2009 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, GA with Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Bill Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.
