Betty Lynn Mccollum

Betty Lynn McCollum, age 66, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Northside Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. McCollum was born on August 20, 1947 in Bethesda, Maryland; daughter of the late Clifton and Claire Dickerson. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Mrs. McCollum had served as a cashier for Kroger and JJ Foods and delivered newspapers. Survivors include her husband, George W. McCollum, Jr.; children, Kelli C. McCollum and friend, LeRoy Frost, Cleveland, Patrick Sean McCollum, Gainesville, and Erin Lynn McCollum, Gainesville. No formal services are planned at this time.
