Betty Jane Dyer

Betty Jane Dyer, age 80, Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Mrs. Dyer was born on July 16, 1933, in Tallulah Falls, Georgia to the late Choice Felton and Reba Teague Sullivan. She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Dyer. Mrs. Dyer was a member of Tallulah Falls Methodist Church. She was retired from the Habersham Board of Education. Survivors include her husband, Herman D. Dyer, Clarkesville; daughter and son in law, Suzanne and Wesley Gailey, Gainesville; son and daughter in law, David and Jeanette Dyer, Clarkesville; sister, Charlotte Meister, Cornelia. No formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tallulah Falls United Methodist Church, 204 Church Street, Tallulah Falls, GA 30573 or Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Suite 222, Gainesville, GA 30501.
