Betty Foster Jackson

BETTY FOSTER JACKSON, age 59, of Toccoa, and formerly of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012, after an extended illness. Mrs. Jackson was born in Banks County, on July 13, 1952, to the late Mark Nelson Foster and Estelle Sisk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Foster and "Charlie Brown" Foster and sister, Dianne Heaton. Mrs. Jackson was of the Baptist faith and a health care giver. Survivors include her daughter, Donna Franklin, Clarkesville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Casey Richie, Toccoa, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Scooter and Sandy Foster, Mt. Airy, GA; son, Shane Foster, College Park, GA; sisters, Linda Porterfield, and Judy Gunn both of Cornelia, GA; brothers Nickey Foster, Cornelia, GA and Nelson Foster, Baldwin, GA; seven grandchildren, Brandon and Brent Baker, Kevin and Konner Foster, Breauna, Javen, and Josten Richie. Memorial services are scheduled for 6:00 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2012, Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Joel Hawkins and Rev. James Franklin officiating.
