Betty Sims Gunn

Betty Sims Gunn, age 81, of Baldwin, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 4, 2020, following an extended illness. Mrs. Gunn was born in Demorest, Georgia on September 16, 1938, to the late Frank and Zell Rogers Sims. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Sims. Mrs. Gunn was retired from Ethicon: Johnson and Johnson, with thirty-five years of loyal and dedicated service. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Denver and Cindy Gunn, Toccoa; sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Homer Campbell, Baldwin; grandchildren and spouses, Katlyn and Michael Etheridge; Alyssa and Stephen Johnson; Ethan Sparks and fiance, Breeanna Bassett. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 11, 2020, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with the Rev. James Gunn officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
