Betty D. Franklin

BETTY D. FRANKLIN, age 69, of Baldwin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. Mrs. Franklin was born on April 23, 1944 in Demorest, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. (Bill) Franklin, son, David Wayne Franklin, and son-in-law, Chris McCurry. Mrs. Franklin was retired from Lumite. Survivors include her daughters, Carol Franklin, Baldwin, Diane Franklin, Clarkesville, Tracy McCurry, Commerce; son, Bruce Franklin, Cornelia; grandchildren, Ryan Franklin, Stacy Franklin, Taylor McCurry; great grandchild, Alex Matilton. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Rev. Lavay McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Monday, January 27, 2014.
