Betty Jo Baird, age 78, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

Mrs. Baird was born on May 23, 1946, in Athens, Georgia to the late Marvin and Jeanetta Childs Baird. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and Donald Hardman. During her working career, she had served as a secretary with Midway Electric. She was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Baird is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Shree Garrett Hardman, of Mount Airy, Georgia, seven grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. Also surviving is her special friend, Karen "Irma" Collins and caregiver, Sue Smith.
