Bertha Patton Plummer

Bertha Patton Plummer, age 70, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Mrs. Plummer was born on June 18, 1947 in Clayton, Georgia to the late William E. “Bill” Patton and Laura Parker Patton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Edward Keener. She was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her loving husband of 25 years, Richard Plummer, of Cornelia; daughter, Wanda Shirley, of Rabun Gap; son, Bryan Plummer, of Chapel Hill, NC; sisters, Patsy Love, of Clayton; Juanita “Tinsey” Rawlings, of Clayton; brother, Sam Patton, of Clarkesville; and three grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday March 28, 2018 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Tony White and Rev. Clay Patton officiating. The family will receive friends 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 28, the day of the service.
