Berta Jane Clark

BERTA JANE CLARK, age 59, of Mt. Airy, GA, died Friday, September 29, 2006 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Clark was born on August 13, 1947 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Fred and Alice Lewallen Denton. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Fred Denton, Jr. Mrs. Clark was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Ethicon Manufacturing. Survivors include: her husband, Billy Clark, Mt. Airy, GA; Sons and daughters-in-law: Brian Joe and Brandi Clark, Clarkesville, GA; Brent Jason and Jennifer Clark, Cornelia, GA; her sisters: Jewell Poole, Banks County, GA; Mary Ann Roberts, Gillsville, GA; Teresa Way, Banks County, GA; Claudette Denton, Stephens County, GA; Melinda Conley, Gainesville, GA; 4 grandchildren: Dylan, Taylor, and Emilee Clark, and Blake Loggins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2006 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin with Rev. Kenneth McEntire and Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
