Benjamin "Benny" Morrison

Benjamin "Benny" Morrison, age 51 of Batesville, GA passed away on Sunday, November 08, 2009. Mr. Morrison was born in Habersham County on October 24, 1958. He was preceded in death by his father, Wooldridge Morrison. Mr. Morrison was a member of the Oakey Mountain Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Shelia Franklin Morrison, Batesville, GA; mother, Pauline Wood Morrison, Batesville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Michael Handley, Gainesville, GA; son, Isaac Morrison, Batesville, GA; and sister, Eva Nell Shook, Batesville, GA. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at the Oakey Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Warren Adams and Rev. Brion Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA.
