Beatrice Hurt Dill

Beatrice Hurt Dill, age 90, of Dick's Hill Parkway, Mt. Airy, Georgia died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at a Private Care Facility. Mrs. Dill was born on August 30, 1916 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late James C. and Ollie James Hurt. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clifford A Dill. Mrs. Dill was a homemaker and was a life long member of Hazel Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include: her three daughters: Mary Faye Unbehant, Mt. Airy, Georgia, Janice Griggs, Cornelia, Georgia and Margaret Umbehant, Demorest, Georgia; one son: James (Jake) P. Dill, Mt. Airy, Georgia; two sisters: Mary Meeks, Demorest, Georgia and Dollie Chandler, Mt. Airy, Georgia; one brother: Jimmy Hurt, Cornelia, Georgia; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 20, 2007 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Billy Burrell and Rev. Trent Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Hazel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Thursday, July 19, 2007. Arrangements are in the care of Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
