Barry Allen "Bear" Williams

BARRY ALLEN "BEAR" WILLIAMS, age 57, of Alto, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 at Atlanta Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Williams was born January 3, 1956 in Demorest, to Eva Mae Garrison Williams and the late Tommy Williams. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Winfred Dewayne Williams. Mr. Williams was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Airborne Division. He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his mother and step-father, Eva Mae Williams and Willis Thomas; three daughters and sons-in-law: Katrina and Buck Bowen, Eastanollee, Kristy and Paul Burke, Commerce, Kayla and Ray Behrends, Demorest; one sister: Theresa Williams, Alto; one brother: Glenn Williams, Sautee; six grandchildren: Bradley Thompson, Ezra Bowen, Izabelle Burke, Parker, Evan and Bayli Behrends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
