Barbara Cook Stewart

BARBARA COOK STEWART, age 75, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Ms. Stewart was born on January 20, 1937, to the late Clinton I. and Nellie Dalton Cook. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, David Cook and L.T. Cook. Ms. Stewart was a retired employee of Mt. Vernon Mills with 32 years of service. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Garrick Doser, Savannah, GA; sons, Rickey Wiley, Clarkesville, GA and Chris Stewart, Alto, GA; sister, Doris Roach, Commerce, GA; granddaughter, Christy Wiley Peck and her spouse, Chris Peck; and one great-granddaughter, Nora Claire Peck. A private graveside service will be held by the family. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
