Anthony Wayne "Tony" Crawford

ANTHONY WAYNE "TONY" CRAWFORD, age 58, of Baldwin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012, following an extended illness. Mr. Crawford was born in London, Kentucky on August 6, 1953; he was the son of the late Vernon and Nancy Jean Bailey Crawford. Mr. Crawford was of the Baptist faith and retired from the furniture sales industry. Survivors include his wife, Evangeline "Jelyn" Crawford, Baldwin, GA; his son, Eric Anthony Crawford, Baldwin, GA; his sister, Donna Crawford Bruns and Tom, Clarkesville, GA; his brother, William Dennis Crawford and Samantha, Demorest, GA; God daughter, Lanie Marie Baratas, the Philippines; God son, Anthony Rentuza, the Philippines; and numerous nephews, nieces, and great-nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012, from Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. O.L. McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, from Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia.
