Annie Ruth Simmons

Annie Ruth Simmons, age 77, of Macon, Georgia formerly of Banks County, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024.

Ms. Simmons was born on September 16, 1946 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Braudice and Gliness Kelley Simmons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Simmons; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Lenora Simmons; as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Condus Gailey.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Rickey and Darlene Simmons, of Baldwin; sister-in-law, Glenda Simmons, of Homer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in the Leatherwood Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the funeral home prior to the service.
