Annie Belle Payne Ivester

Annie Belle Payne Ivester, age 77, Baldwin, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014. Mrs. Ivester was born on March 13, 1937, in Alto, Georgia, to the late Henry and Florence Parker Payne. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Ivester; son, Larry Ivester; sisters, Betty Goodson, Lola Mae Smith; brothers, James Payne, William Payne, John Henry Payne, Lincoln Payne. Mrs. Ivester was a member of Baldwin Baptist Church. She was retired from Baldwin Garment Company with 40 years of service. Survivors include nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia with Rev. Scott Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in Baldwin City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
