Anne Gibson Wofford

Mrs. Ann Gibson Wofford, age 75, of Hiawassee, Georgia, formerly of Demorest and Gainesville, Georgia. Mrs. Wofford passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Wofford was a native of Douglas and attended Coffee County High School and Brenau University. She volunteered for many years at Habersham Hospital and Chatuge General Hospital. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Lawton Wofford; son, John Lawton Wofford and wife Linda, Clarkesville, GA; daughter, Clair and husband A.D. Frazier Jr., Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Jason Davey and his wife Teneal and Jamie Davey, all of Clarkesville; and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2011, at Yonah Memorial Gardens in Demorest, Georgia with Rev. David Tensley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Sunday at the graveside.
