Andrew William Tomsa

ANDREW WILLIAM TOMSA, age 86, of Carnesville, GA formerly of PA passed away Friday, November 13, 2009. Born in Naples, Louisiana on May 11, 1923, he was the son of the late George Washington and Nettie Dixon Tomsa. Mr. Tomsa was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Ann Marshall Tomsa. He was a life member of the The Moose Lodge in PA. Mr. Tomsa was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. in the South Pacific from 1942-1945. He also was a Korean Conflict Veteran serving in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1964 with a total of 22 years of service to his country. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Justine "Tina" and Ashley "Hap" Lawton, Carnesville, GA; son, Donald K. Tomsa, Gap, PA; son and daughter-in-law, James William and JoAnne Tomsa, Manchester, PA; brother and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Ruby Tomsa, Arnaudville, Louisiana; 5 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 9:00a.m., Sunday, November 15, 2009 from the Tylers Farm with full military honors.
