Allie Ree Foster Webster

ALLIE REE FOSTER WEBSTER, age 89, of Cleveland, GA, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Webster was born on October 23, 1920 in Habersham County, GA to the late Haskell and Susan Katherine Berrong Foster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herschel Webster and grandson, Bruce Cantrell. Mrs. Webster was a member at the First Baptist Church in Cornelia, GA and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School at her church, and was a member of the WMU. She always loved to work with young people. Mrs. Webster worked as a secretary and treasurer at H.L. Webster Manufacturing and was a homemaker. Survivors include: her daughters Glenda Maher, Cornelia, GA, Revonda Amthor, Cleveland, GA, and Zelda Cantrell, Cleveland, GA; her son Lamar Webster, Cleveland, GA; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Cornelia, GA with Rev. David Turner, Rev. Mike Franklin and Rev. Gene Poole officiating. Internment will follow in the Level Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2009.
