Allen Mason

ALLEN MASON, age 46, of Damascus Road, Homer, GA, died Sunday, December 3, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Mason was born on February 9, 1960 in Habersham County, Georgia. He was preceded in death a sister, Betsy West. Mr. Mason was a 1978 Graduate of Habersham Central High School and attended Piedmont College. He was a supervisor with Hudgins Construction Company, Gainesville, GA with 12 years of service. Mr. Mason was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife: Jerri Irvin Mason, Homer, GA; his father: George Mason, Homer, GA; his mother: Geraldine Galloway Mason, Baldwin, GA; Son, Lex Mason, Homer, GA Daughter: Rebeka Irvin, Homer, GA; 2 nieces: Carrie Mills and Amber Irvin; 1 nephew: Jake Mills. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 from the Homer Presbyterian Church with Rev. James Morgan and Rev. Terrell Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
