Allan Howard Hoffman

ALLAN HOWARD HOFFMAN, age 58, of Demorest, GA passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Mr. Hoffman was born in Detroit, MI on September 16, 1951. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Max Hoffman. Mr. Hoffman was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cornelia, GA where he was a founding member of Stillwaters Folk ensemble. He was the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services for Barrow Regional Medical Center, Winder, GA. One of his great loves was watching son Michael play basketball. Mr. Hoffman will be missed by many. Survivors include his parents, George Gross and Adele Brown Hoffman; his beloved wife, Traci Hoffman, Demorest, GA; son, Michael Hoffman who was the love of his life, Demorest, GA; daughters, Brandi Hoffman and Jennifer Ford, both of GA; step-sons, Derek Riley, Chicago, IL , Tyler and Ryan Worsham , both of Alpharetta, GA; brothers, Ernie Hoffman, Dacula, GA, Paul Hoffman, Detroit, MI; and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, GA with Rev. Greg Walton officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The Hoffman family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010.
