Agnes Dalton Poole. Age 84, of Baldwin, Georgia, died Friday, September 21, 2007 at the BJC Medical Center. Mrs. Poole was born on July 18, 1923 in Banks County, Georgia to the late Archie and Mary Jane Brock Dalton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Poole, her brothers, Tome Dalton and Wilton Dalton and a granddaughter, Amy Poole. Mrs. Poole was a homemaker and a member of the Line Baptist Church. Survivors include: her daughter: Mary Lee Poole, Oakwood, GA; her daughters and sons-in-law: Susie and Roger Osborn, Homer, GA; Anita and Wayne Caudell, Toccoa, GA; her sons and daughters-in-law: David and Diane Poole, Windell and Deloise Poole, Douglas and Joy Poole, Johnny and Rebecca Poole, and Keith and Regina Poole, all of Baldwin, GA; her sisters: Ethel Morris, Cornelia, GA; Gladys Poole, Baldwin, GA; Edna Gary, Cornelia, GA; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 23, 2007 from the Line Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth McEntire, Rev. Garry Garrison, Rev. Wayne Strickland, and Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday. Mrs. Poole will lie in state at the Church from 3:30 pm until the funeral hour on Sunday. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Line Baptist Church, 594 Spring Road, Baldwin, GA 30511.
