Abraham Bernard Duncan Iii

ABRAHAM BERNARD DUNCAN III, age 69, Clarkesville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 following an extended illness. Mr. Duncan was born January 14, 1945 in Toccoa, Georgia; son of the late Abraham Bernard Duncan II and Lois Mattox Duncan Tracy. He had a B. S. Degree from Shorter College in Business and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Duncan was a human resource manager with ITT Automotive Division and was an administrative assistant with Cobb General Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Karen Duncan, Clarkesville; stepdaughter, Amy Nycole Falls, Demorest; sister Lois McDermott, Rome, GA; cousins, Dottie and Steve Jackson, Rabun Co, Lynn Ogle, TX, Rebecca and Steve Roundtree, Clarkesville, Joe Sewell, Toccoa; and several nieces and nephews. Due to the inclement weather memorial services originally scheduled for February 11, 2014 will be rescheduled for 4:00 pm on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia with Rev. Brandon Woods officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00-3:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2014.
