Aaron C. "Bud" Bryson

AARON C. "BUD" BRYSON, age 88, of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Mr. Bryson was born in Towns County, Georgia, on April 25, 1924, to the late Orville and Maude McConnell Bryson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Della Bryson. He was a retired truck driver with Motor Convoy with many years of service and a member of Level Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, L. Pat Howard Bryson, Demorest, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Lt. Col. Jeffrey C. Bryson and Lori, Ft. Lewis, WA, sisters, Corene Shifflett, Knoxville, TN and Montree Bryson, Hiawassee, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Sidney Manning, Jefferson, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Elmer and Patricia Bryson, Hiawassee, GA; two grandchildren, Jonathan C. Bryson, Savannah, GA and Katie Bryson, Ft. Lewis, WA. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Level Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Brian James and Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2012, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia. In Lieu of flowers the family respectfully request that donations be made to the Level Grove Baptist Church, P.O. Box 416, Cornelia, Georgia 30531.
