Sutherlan Keith Cope

Sutherlan Keith Cope, age 21, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. Mr. Cope was born June 20, 2000 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was of the Christian Faith. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Keith and Rebecca Cope, of Mt. Airy; mother, Elizabeth Atkins, of North Carolina; siblings, Lexie Burchfield, of Knoxville,TN; Breanne Cope, of Gainesville; Lindsey Cope, of Atlanta; Maddie Cope, of Mount Airy; Bryan Sumner Cope, of Mount Airy; step-siblings, Jessica Goff, Brittany Rivers, Deb Grove and EJ Hulsey; additional survivors include his grandparents,James & Barbara Cope and Glenda Atkins. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 11, 2021 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel A Private Funeral Service will be held.
