Grady Cantrell

Grady Cantrell, age 66, of Demorest, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 26, 2021. Mr. Cantrell was born in Demorest, Georgia on September 30, 1954,to the late Orville E. and Novice A. Cantrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters:Elese Oliver and Inez Dameron;two brothers, Samuel J. Cantrell and Lloyd Cantrell. Mr. Cantrell was of the Baptist faith.He was a retired saw miller and small engine repairman. Survivors include three brothers:Owen Cantrell, of Mt. Airy; Ervin Cantrell, of Clarkesville; Reggie Cantrell, of Demorest;six sisters: Bea Allen, of Middleton, VA; Pat Wright, of Gainesville; Phillis Barrett, of Cleveland; Josalyn L. Cantrell, of Atlanta; Karen Cantrell, of Demorest; and Teresa Cantrell, of Demorest; caretaker, Tiffiany Arrendale, of Demorest. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 1, 2021, at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with Mr. Stanley Wright officiating.Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Sunday, February 28, 2021.
