Somchit Bannavong

Somchit Bannavong, age 80, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Mrs. Bannavong was born on May 5, 1938 in Thailand. She was a member of the Habersham County Family Lao Association. Mrs. Bannavong was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters Nenie Toualack, of Cornelia; Somsanith Bannavong, of Mount Airy; sons, John Bannavong, Eddie Bannavong, Michael Bannavong, and Song Bannavong, all of Washington State; twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Sunday November 25, 2018 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with The Monks officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24, 2018.
