Somboun Kinnarath, age 84, of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Mr. Kinnarath was born on March 10, 1933 in Ban Kom, Loiet, Thailand to the late Sa and Kong Kinnarath. He was a member of the Lao Family Association of Habersham and The Wat Lao Buddharam Satha. Mr. Kinnarath was a retired weaver with Mount Vernon Mills with 30 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Keo Kinnarath; daughters, Phikhoun Kinnarath, Nicole Flores; sons, Prayoun Kinnarath, Addun Kinnarath, Chanloun Kinnarath; daughter-in-law, Misa Thatsana; son-in-law, Gerardo Aviles-Flores; grandchildren, Nyla Kinnarath, Austin Kinnarath, Peyton Kinnarath, May Kinnarath, Allen Kinnarath, Alex Kinnarath, Jennifer Singharat, Andy Singharat, Mike Phommasouk, Kane Phommasouk, Lexi Phommasouk, Paris Aviles Kinnarath, Giovannie Kinnarath, Felisatie Kinnarath; great-grandchildren, Andrew Kinnarath, Drayden Kinnarath, Arriana Kinnarath, Calvin Kinnarath, Hailey Singharath, Cayden Singharath, and A.J. Singharath. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018 from the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Monks officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018 at the funeral home.
