Rodney Lee White

Rodney Lee White, age 46, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. Mr. White was born on November 17, 1971, in Gainesville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” White. Rodney was a graduate of Johnson High School, an avid outdoorsman, and loved college football. Mr. White was a veteran of the United States Army and of the Baptist faith. He was employed with Dealers Supply in Gainesville, Georgia. Survivors include his wife, Angelia “Angie” White of Cornelia; daughter, Tayler White of Cornelia; son, C.J. White of Cornelia; mother, Mary Sue White of Gainesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Sheri White of Flowery Branch and Jeff and Joy White of Alto; and sister, Jackie White of Gainesville. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Deron Crocker officiating. All family and friends should meet at the cemetery by 10:50 am. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia.
