Joseph "Joe" Holbert

Joseph “Joe” Holbert, age 85, of Cleveland, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018. Mr. Holbert was born on May 27, 1933 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph David and Ester Helen Bohn Holbert. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joel Guy Holbert, and bother, Thomas Holbert. Mr. Holbert was of the Christian Faith. He was retired from the United States Army having served over 20 years, and from the United States Army Reserve with 20 years as well. Mr. Holbert proudly served his country during the Korean and Vietnam Conflicts. Survivors include his loving wife, Vivian F. Holbert, of Cleveland; daughter, Lindy Holbert, of Cleveland; son, David Holbert, of Cleveland; sister, Ann Maddamma, of Montdale, NJ; brother, Buddy Holbert, of Montdale, NJ; grandchildren, Daniel Attaway, Loni Holbert, Candice Winsett; great-grandchildren, Easton Attaway, Jenson Attaway, and Ender Catanzard. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tracey Hulsey officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army.
