Eugene Robinson

Eugene Robinson, age 84, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018. Mr. Robinson was born on October 14, 1933, in Toccoa, Georgia; a son of the late Fain and Mamie Tumlin Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ann Carlan Robinson; son, Jimmy Robinson; sisters: Katherine Roberts, Annie Bell Harrington, and Bessie Robinson; and brothers: J.D., Earl, Alfred, Doffice, and James Robinson. Mr. Robinson retired from the United States Air Force and was a Korean Conflict Veteran. He was also a retired owner of Ann’s Bait and Tackle Shop. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Robert Sanders of McDonough; brother, S.C. Robinson of Cornelia; and grandson, Robby Sanders. A graveside service will be held at 4:30 pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Yonah Memorial Gardens with Rev. Billy Burrell officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
