Ellen Waldrup Bramblett

Ellen Waldrup Bramblett, age 95, of Cornelia, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017. Mrs. Bramblett was born on March 24, 1922, in Lavonia, Georgia, to the late Augustine Thomas and Sarah Ellen Worley Waldrup. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Lee Bramblett and grandson, Todd Hunter. Mrs. Bramblett was a member of Alto Congregational Holiness Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Grady Hart of Alto; daughter, Edna Hunter of Cornelia; son, Gerald Bramblett of Cornelia; grandchildren: Anthony Hunter, Pam Cogdill, Shelley Brooks, Kim Burgess, Jonathan Bramblett, Aubry Dockins, and Jenifer Hart; twelve great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, Baldwin, Georgia, with Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at the funeral home.
